Within the last 10 days, the contractors have been putting up orange barrels to block off parking for residents while leaving those spaces vacant and also taking up multiple spaces worth of parking for large construction vehicles that remain idle for days. No street occupancy permits have been posted and constituents report that the contractors are increasing the number of spaces they are taking while also blocking street cleaning. Constituent also reports the work happening in the middle of the night without any off hours permits found. As of 3/28/2024 constituent reports another residential parking space taken by the contractors.]

Still at site but never remounted am an Advocate with the City of Boston's Age Strong Commission. I work with the Fenway neighborhood, and the organization Operation PEACE which services seniors in the area. Recently, due to construction, the street sign for Operation PEACE was taken down. The City replaced the street sign, but the Director of Operation PEACE needs to have their sign placed on the new pole. (Please see attached photo.)
