Constituent reporting issues with street lighting at Edward Everett Square (intersection of Massachusetts Ave, Columbia Rd, Boston St, and E Cottage St). States it is a very busy intersection and it gets very dark at night. States some of the street lights were replaced, but some are half lit, others are half off. States some new poles were installed, but some got knocked down. Would like the street lighting in this area addressed.= | Problem: [Other]

Pole slightly bent and leaning. Metal bar connecting main pole and secondary pole is disconnected. On a busy street.

Constiuent states there is a hornet nest on the street lighting pole directly on the light. Constituent is requesting removal due to the danger it poses to children in the neighborhood who frequent the area below the light. | Problem: [Other]

Light pole in the park has a plate missing and exposed wires

Per constituent via contact form on 07/24/24: "Hi - my name is Bill Holding, and I live at 212 Comm Ave in Back Bay. Behind our building we have a tricky situation where there is both a telephone pole and a street light pole right next to each other, separated by the road in the alley. Given that the telephone pole abuts our parking space and the light pole is directly behind it, our spot is essentially unusable if there are other cars nearby. I noticed other phone poles in our alley already have lights on them, and am not sure why we need a separate light pole. I wanted to ask if you could please move the light to the top of the telephone pole, and then remove the light pole? I would really appreciate it if you could make this change - I think it would be consistent with the existing situation in our alley, and it would make the parking situation much better for us and our neighbors. Constituent states a new telephone pole was installed and the street light that is installed at the top was taken down and placed on the ground in front of her yard. Constituent states the street light was never placed back on the wooden utility pole. Constituent is requesting someone contact her about who will replace the street light. | Problem: [Other]

Constituent states there is a street light pole that is on charles street about a 100 yards away from leverett circles that has not concrete base. Constituent states the base loks to be dug in and his wife tripped over the dip in the sidewalk.
