    a limb from the municipal tree across street fell over the weekend. i dragged it to my driveway to get it off the street but haven't had a chance to open this case. can some one possibly swing by from public works and pick it up? thanks

    City owned lot dead tree is going to fall on my yard/home.

    Noted. The land in question next to 105 Itasca is not a city owned lot, it is a private way. The section of Monterey Ave from Savannah Ave to Alabama St is a private way. Photos in case closing note show the COB street guide which confirms this is a private way as well as an orthophoto that is marked up showing the sections of Monterey Ave that are a private way. Given that the tree is on a private way it is the abutting property owners responsibility to maintain as the City of Boston does not maintain private ways or trees on private ways.
