  • Pest Infestation - Residential

6 Oswald St, Mission Hill, Ma, 02120

Formal complaint requesting urgent ISD inspection of 6 Oswald (Mission Hill), adjacent to our property, 91-93 Calumet. We were recently cited for an emergency rodent infestation, and the neighboring property appears to have serious exterior conditions contributing directly to the rodent activity. Photos show broken/collapsed concrete, open holes and voids under slabs, loose bricks and rubble, trash barrels and multiple gaps. These conditions appear to create rodent harborage and a direct rat travel corridor between properties. Requesting ISD inspect for rodent activity unsafe exterior conditions, debris, trash storage, property maintenance violations and conditions conducive to pest infestation. Please require the property owner to remove debris, repair broken concrete, fill/seal holes and undermined areas, cut back vegetation, secure trash storage and perform professional rodent abatement. This should be handled with the same urgency as our emergency rodent citation.

  • Pest Infestation - Residential

49 Condor St, East Boston, Ma, 02128

I am writing to report the vacant property at 49 Condor Street, which has been unmaintained for over a year. The owner died suddenly last March and it was purchased last week by an investor who is using an LLC to purchase, Penny Investments LLC. The grass and vegetation have grown to approximately 5 feet tall and remain unkept. Additionally, there are rat burrows under the house, which raises serious concerns about pest infestation. This condition is unsightly and may pose health and safety concerns for the neighborhood. I respectfully request that the city inspect the property and take appropriate action. Thank you for your attention.
