Parking spaces | Store Location: [Pilgrim Parking - Hynes Auditorium Garage] Product Size: [1 car space] When did this happen: [05/26/2015] Detail Information: [On Tuesday, 5/26, I parked at the Pilgrim Parking Hynes Auditorium Garage from about 7:54am to 8:48am for less than one hour. According to posted signs as well as the online parking price list at http://pilgrimparking.com/boston-parking-garages/hynes-auditorium-garage.htm the rate for 1/2 - 1 hour of parking is $15. However, instead of being charged $15 for the 1/2 - 1 hour rate I was instead charged the Early Bird Special of $20 as I did enter the garage prior to 9am. I've raised my concern with both the attendant and her supervisor who only stated that this is an automated system and because I entered before 9am I would automatically be charged the Early Bird Special, independent of how long I actually parked at the garage. He also stated that he would not be able to issue a refund for the difference between the lower 1 hour rate and the higher Early Bird Special. Nowhere on the displayed price list nor on their web site is there any indication that the hourly rates are only in effect after 9am. Because I only parked for less than one hour the lower hourly rate should apply and not the Early Bird Special. As this is an automated system I do have to assume that my case is not an isolated incident but would affect any user of the garage that entered prior to 9am and parked at the garage for no more than one hour.]
