Yard waste pick up was scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th. I placed our bag out on Monday evening on Public Alley 705 in the South End. It’s after 5 and it hasn’t picked up. Thank you. YOUR LOCATION SEARCHER DOES NOT ALLOW TO TYPE IN PUBLIC ALLEY 705 but that’s where the bag is located.

Missed trash collection and accumulated waste in the rear alley behind 296 Marlborough Street, Boston, MA 02116, by the wooden gate marked 296. Trash has not been picked up since Thursday, September 3, 2026 (the Thursday before Labor Day). Posted signage states collection is Monday and Thursday mornings. As of September 15, bins are overflowing with bags and cardboard, with additional waste on the ground beside the rear entrance. Photo attached. Please arrange collection/cleanup and route this request to the appropriate department or responsible collection service.

Unauthorized private sign on City property — Boston Code §16-23.3 I am requesting review of a privately installed “NO DOGS ON GRASS” sign located in the grass strip at 34–36 Neptune Cir, Boston, MA 02128. The grass area is City/public property adjacent to the public sidewalk and street. My previous 311 case (BCS-00322399) was closed stating that no Code Enforcement violation was found. I am resubmitting because Boston Code §16-23.3, “Posting in Public Places,” states that, without the consent of the Mayor, no person may post or affix a notice upon a curbstone, sidewalk, street, public place, or property belonging to the City. Please determine whether the property owner has City authorization to install this private “NO DOGS ON GRASS” sign on the public property. If there is no such authorization, please refer the matter to the appropriate department for enforcement/removal. Photos are attached showing the sign and its location relative to the sidewalk and curb.
