Construction at 11pm on 3/23/2026. Eversource is outside using the machine to create holes through the concrete. Instead of using a jackhammer. Which would be more efficient and not as long as a process. The excessive banging from the digger machine is totally unacceptable & frankly rude. People have kids that go to school and parents/othera have work. There are other alternatives for this issue. This would not be happening in a suburban area especially at this time of night

Extremely loud construction has begun on the street in front of 700 Harrison Ave., in the South End, beginning at 10:30pm on Monday, March 23. It is way too loud, and way too late.

Garbage missed a trash bag and now there are used tampons on the street. Not attaching a picture for everyone’s sake. Between 2 cars in front of 5 Phillips

Cars are consistently parked at the spot on the corner of Wellington Hill and Ormond. This particular car is also parked on the sidewalk. You can see in the pictures that these cars are parked in between a stop sign and the line for the stop sign, right in front of and often obstructing the crosswalk. This also means that if you are approaching the stop sign you have to go around whatever car is parked here while avoiding any oncoming traffic.

If the MBTA is in violation of city code 11-6.23 by not repairing the huge potholes within 2 feet of the rails then why are you doing nothing about it? Or is it that statute, in this case MGL 84 Section 15, takes precedence over local code and the city wants to exhaust the 30 day window for filing a claim for damage by disclaiming liability out of ignorance of the law or in bad faith?
