Const. reporting multiple space savers on the street |

I have reported this multiple times, just took this pic, there is no lighting under bridge & it remains unshoveled. We need to safely get to the pathetic train, it’s been 2 weeks

Constituent submitted the following via email: The Boston Transportation Department had good momentum policing (and ticketing) the violators in East Boston Memorial Park, who park their cars, for the day (or night) in East Boston Memorial Park, and turn the parking lot, in the park, into a “T Commuter (Blue Line)” and “Airport Employee” free parking lot. MANY parking spaces in the park are consumed, not by users of the park, but by abusers of the 2 hour, signed, parking limit. About a month before the blizzard, the Transportation Department was keeping up with enforcement, during the week, but, sadly, not on weekends. On weekends, the same cars park in the park for 8+ hours a day (generally, about 20 cars). Beginning, about 2 or 3 PM, weekday afternoons, the same thing happens. Please direct Boston DOT to get back on this again, including weekday afternoons, and weekends. See the attached pictures from yesterday morning, in East Boston Memorial Park (the name of the STREET/parking area in East Boston Memorial Park is Thompson Drive). Hello. I’ve been attempting to dispose of a small couch. I live at 16 River Street. Before doing anything, I went to the City of Boston website, learned that I should put the couch out with my trash on trash day. I verified this on the app and by calling 311 and speaking to an operator. I put the couch out last Thursday night (Jan. 29) for my neighborhood’s trash pickup the next day, setting it in the same place normal trash goes, as directed by the website and 311 operator. The couch was not picked up and remained next to my building. I called 311 soon after and the operator said they were filing some kind of report and that the couch would be picked up within 48 hours. It was not. This morning (Feb. 6) was the third straight trash day that the couch was not collected. I’ve called 311 several times about getting the couch disposed of. Today, my landlord alerted me to a ticket he’d gotten, apparently for the couch. Again, I followed every step the city laid out on how to dispose of a couch. I also verified everything during multiple calls with 311. I just need to make sure that the couch gets collected and my landlord does not incur a fine, as I have done everything g exactly by the book. Please let me know if you need additional information for me. As of today, the couch is directly next to 16 River Street, Boston, MA 02108.

The constituent reported that this establishment is over charging people's credit cards for drinks. He stated that while he was in there he bought one drink and a red bull and they tried to charge him $1000. He ended up getting a fraud alert for this transaction and confronted them. The constituent has a copy of his statement and wants a call back.
