Rodent Infestation Emanating From The Yellys Coffee Shop To The Front And Back Yard Of 286 And 288 Centre Street…

At approximately 2:00 a.m., extremely loud road construction is taking place in front of 1436 Centre Street, in front of the 7-Eleven in West Roxbury/Roslindale. The work involves constant drilling and hammering that is loud enough to keep the surrounding neighborhood awake in the middle of the night. The noise is excessive and is significantly disrupting residents’ ability to sleep. I am requesting that the City address this ongoing overnight construction activity.

• Melvin Av — longtime resident. I collected this from a conversation with one of my neighbors who has lived on Melvin Av for more than 20 years. They said they now see rats around the compost bins most evenings after dark. According to them, the rat problem has become a regular topic of conversation among neighbors and is clearly worse than it was a year ago.
