*******************************URGENT****************************** Description – August 3, 2026, 12:00 Midnight Back Bay Station – Clarendon Street Subject: Overnight Construction Noise Complaint Attention: Ryan Coholan, Dennis Varley, and Angel Donahue-Rodriguez At approximately 12:00 midnight on August 3, 2026, extremely loud drilling began at the Back Bay Station Clarendon Street employee entrance. The overnight construction crew continued this work throughout the night, generating excessive noise that disturbed the surrounding residential neighborhood. The construction doors were left open, allowing the drilling noise to carry into nearby homes. Workers on site refused requests to close the doors to help contain the noise. If there was no approved permit authorizing overnight construction, this work should be stopped immediately. If the work can reasonably be performed during normal daytime hours, it should not be be taking place in the middle of the night. Back Bay is a residential community, and residents should not be subjected to continuous overnight drilling. Immediate action should be taken to determine whether the work was properly authorized and, if so, to require the contractor to keep the work area enclosed to minimize noise. If the work was not authorized for overnight hours, it should be halted immediately.

Rat bites: [No] Rats in the house: [Yes] Rats outside of property: [Yes] What is the nature of the problem: [On Thursday 7/30/26 I noticed some insulation on the floor of out utility room entry way located at the back side of the building under the deck stairs to Unit #45 Upon further investigation determined that rodent had chewed a hole at the base of the wall and entered the building. I cleaned up the area and filled the hole with steel wool and spray foam to close it. I also placed a baited rat trap on the floor next the repaired hole. On Friday 7/31/26- I saw more insulation on the floor Pics 7, 8 from a new hole chewed adjacent to the repaired hole and the rat trap was completely gone. The blue thing poking out of the hole in pic 7 _-8 is a latex glove taken from inside the garagew that is on the other side of the wall from this hole. there are bushes on corner of Fenway and Boylston by the Mass Historic Society with several issues: 1. please remove weeds especially those growing and obstructing pedestrian way. 2. clear out dead branches. 3. clean out garbage lining and under shrubbery.
