I am reporting multiple active rat burrows along the property line between my property at 2 Henderson Avenue and the neighboring property at 501 East 5th Street. The Boston Inspectional Services Department previously instructed the neighboring property in Fall 2025 to address rodent activity in this area. Since that time, conditions have worsened significantly. There are now several visible burrow openings (approximately 2–4+ inches wide) with fresh soil and clear signs of ongoing activity. The burrows appear clustered and likely part of a larger underground nesting system. A rat has also recently been observed on/near our property. While bait stations have been placed on the neighboring property, the burrows remain active and do not appear to have been properly remediated (e.g., collapsed/filled), and there is debris/brush that may be contributing to harborage. Given the prior notice and the escalation of activity, I respectfully request inspection, enforcement if appropriate, and comprehensive treatment including burrow remediation. Car parking daily on the sidewalk

There has been a RV/van parked on Wood/High Street, Charlestown for the last few months. It is parked in a section of High Street that can hold 3 parked car. It is taking up 2 spaces and greatly reduced the parking on our block. Would you be able to check on the owners ? Is it abandoned? Thank you for your help. WHITE DODGE VAN MA 2GYS49
