Homelessness at 90 Windsor Street (02120) For over two years, a group of unhoused individuals has been living in the vicinity of 90 Windsor Street in Lower Roxbury. The area has accumulated significant amounts of trash, and during colder months, open fires are frequently lit at night, creating serious safety hazards. Residents nearby are increasingly concerned and unsure how to address the situation. Multiple calls to the police have not resulted in any meaningful or lasting response, and the conditions remain unchanged. In some instances, residents have also received threatening notes left on their vehicles after reporting the issue. Several neighbors have submitted formal complaints, yet no action has been taken. Given the duration and ongoing risks, we are seeking clarity on why the situation has not been addressed and what steps can be taken to resolve it.

Kids were hanging out last night and made a HUGE mess. This is a problem every year and the police aren’t doing enough about it. They are INTENTIONALLY making a mess all over Fallon. In the field. In the tennis courts. On the basketball court. On the hockey rink. In the playground. This is beyond out of control and with the amount of public urination crossing into a public health concern. I’ve called 911 so many times about this and not enough is done. It’s every weekend. It’s all weekend.

Dartmouth street from back bay station to Tremont needs to be repaved. The street has more than potholes, it is buckling and is a hazard not just for drivers but for pedestrians since drivers speed through that street from 90 and are distracted by the state of the streets. I hope this is priority to repave completely this spring given how much use it gets and that it is a major thoroughfare and currently a hazard to the residents living around there.
