Boston (BTD) given tickets to non-illegally parked car on condor st. I watched as the officer looked at the curb seen that there was no sign saying that you can't park there and still ticketed the car. The car had a up to date inspection sticker, up to date registration sticker, and resident parking pass. We dont have parking when we come home everyday after 8pm EVERY SPOT COUNTS even when we have to walk 2 blocks to get home. Half the cars who park on condor st. Got a ticket most of them for inspection stickers (since Mass wants everyone to buy new cars since they updated there vehicle inspections policy to be almost impossible to pass for older vehicles ). just slap A 25$+ tickets on windsheld cause why not more money for the city. I have pictures of the ticketed car and btd car number I'm gonna keep them to myself for the privacy of the ticketed car and the btd worker. I lived here 25 years+ and sick of how many tickets I see everyday driveing around. I wrote this cause I know people can't take it no more we need change big time. If your reading this maybe your the person who can help.

  • Illegal Parking

142 Portland St, Boston, Ma, 02114

I received a “no stopping or stand” parking violation. But I wasn't in a forbidden place. There were no signs or indications that I couldn't stop there. In fact, that red car behind me was already there when I arrived, and he didn't receive any violation, just me. They fined me $90. I have already paid for this, but I ask that you analyze the photos and review this in relation to my money. Waiting for answers. Thanks.

The No parking sign must have blown off the meter and was replaced after I parked there. This happened to two other cars; two of the cars , including mine, were towed. My car was on Forsyth st near the MFA. The incident happened on January 10, the morning after the huge rain and wind storm Monday night. When we parked there there, were no signs on the meters, period. One of the other drivers and I carefully read the sign about the street cleaning parking ban ending on Nov 30 and we each paid for several hours, paid with credit card. There is no way we could have done that if the tape had been on when we were parking. The other driver whose car was towed, 311 case #101005244179 took photos and sent them with her case. I had to pay $27 for a taxi and then $170 to the tow company. This could have been avoided if the city had gone to the site early in the day before the construction crew showed up to make sure the signs were in place on the meters. They were not there when we arrived and parked, but the construction crew must have hastily taped them back on when hey arrived after us, so they could get the cars towed and start their work. The owners of the cars were NOT at fault and we should not have to bear the cost.

This constituent wants to make a request that Jamaica Plain put visitors parking or are able to get a temporary parking pass when his family visits. He called the office of the parking clerk and they told him they can't do anything. He is upset because his grandson visited and has a medical condition and can't walk far and his son had to park 3 blocks away because there is no visitors parking. | Case (SR) Type: [Mayor's Request] Referred To: [MAYORAL REQUESTS]

  • Illegal Parking

    135 Charles St S, Boston, Ma, 02116

There are many people without Resident permits who take up Bay Village resident parking spots on Friday-Saturday nights after 8pm surrounding and within Bay Village either on Tremont St and Charles Street by Eliot Norton Park and even some parking by hydrants illegally. This makes it difficult for our residents to get parking at night when returning home and cars are rarely getting ticketed now for illegally taking up resident spots in our area. Looking for an agent to patrol the area to ticket the regular repeat offenders to decrease the frequency in which it occurs. Have seen clerks in the area previously to address situation and was helpful in managing the issue, but have seen a significant decrease of patrolling the past few months.

Abuse of power by ISD/Boston Public Works. This is the second time I am submitting a complaint regarding the unauthorized permits posted along the 300-800 blocks of Tremont Street in the South End. The permit number displayed is EXCA-1308131 which is for work in Mission Hill that expired 11/1, yet they slapped on new work areas and new dates. This puts residents on notice of NOTHING. I called BPW directly who said they would get someone out there immediately. Their solution? Make another fraudulent permit on Microsoft Word. They kept the same expired permit number and updated the dates. There is no City of Boston emblem. It should be noted that this permit is for off hours. Sunday-Tuesday, 7pm-6am. I have witnessed with my own eyes a large scale ticketing and towing operation that begins at 7-8pm based on these permits. BTD DOES NOT CHECK if permits are real! They take them at face value, and it is obvious that ISD/BPW knows this and therefore only updates there permits on the “face”. All of this is wrong. Everyone who has been towed or ticketed on the basis of these fraudulent permits should have the right to appeal - which will inundate the parking clerks office. It seems to me like IDS/BPW/BTD are either in cahoots, or do not communicate. Either way, this is wrong.
