The bike lane could use some upgrades - it’s in a state of disrepair that’s dangerous. Is it possible to make this a two lane bike lane? There’s definitely plenty of room! There are always bikes going both ways already - so just install it.

Dangerous potholes nearly took out a cyclist. This street is already in awful condition but there is a new pothole in the bike lane that is deep and unmarked and difficult to see which is incredibly hazardous to any street user, especially people on bikes who are navigating a highly trafficked road. Additionally, the bike lanes have not been repainted in a very long time and so faded or non existent cars drive like there are multiple lanes preventing cyclists from safely using the road. If there is a plan already to resolve this, could you please provide information about when this will be done. Thank you for your consideration

169 Alford St, Charlestown, Ma, 02129My case was closed about flex posts on Alford st and I was provided a link to a webpage about bike lane barriers but no information about timeline or if Alford street is even on the list of streets getting improved barriers. Can you please provide more information? This street is extremely dangerous and the post have been gone for many months despite continued high use.
