Mayor, I am becoming a little concern with the crosswalks in Boston. In the South End of Boston they have signs at the crosswalk for autos to stop. I would like to know why all the communties do not have these signs at the crosswalks. I live in Mattapan and Blue Hill Ave is a nightmare with people walking across the street whether the light is green or not. We need these same signs in Mattapan Mass, Roxbury and the Dorchester neighborhoods. Why are they only in certain neighborhoods and not all? Is it a law for Jaywalking? And if Massachusetts have this law I do not see it being use. illegal jaywalking can bring money to the city as well as ticketing cars. Thank you for listening, HRLane-Biggs |
