In Jamaica Plain near the Stony Brook train stop at corner of Lamartine and Paul Gore, the pedestrian crossing sign in the street was apparently hit by a car and absolutely flattened—now it’s a much less safe crossing for pedestrians.

Several trees were planted years ago. The contractor did not maintain them. Now trees are being "girdled" by the ties lashing them to support poles. Some trees have died because of this. Others are dying. I have contacted this department several times. The city has spent THOUSANDS of dollars to plant the trees. Now, because the lack of care, they will die. Please send a team to remove the bands cutting through the bark. Please send teams to replace the dead trees. Please send teams to CONSISTENTLY water the trees. Several requests have been made over the years and no action is taken. Save the trees please. | Is this a City owned tree situated on the sidewalk: [No] If No, please specify: [Savin Hill Beach park. Trees along Savin Hill beach and the McConnell Playground area.]
