  • Domestic Animal Issue

40 Montgomery St, Boston, MA 02118

I am reporting a dog bite that occurred on 05/20/26 at approximately 10:20 PM on the public sidewalk at approximately 38–40 Montgomery Street, Boston, MA 02118. I was walking on the sidewalk when a dog that was off leash bit me on the posterior portion of my upper left thigh. The owner had two dogs — one on leash and one off leash; the off-leash dog was the one that bit me. I was not touching or interacting with the dog. The bite did not break the skin (it left a bruise / red mark). Owner information (provided at the scene): Name: Frank Hamm Address: 32 Montgomery Street, Boston, MA The owner provided a current rabies vaccination certificate at the scene, issued by Angell Animal Medical Center: Rabies tag number: 000047 Vaccine: BI Imrab 3TF (3-year), valid through January 3, 2027 I am requesting that this incident be documented and that the dog’s license and vaccination status be verified. The dog was off leash at the time, which I understand is a violation of the city leash ordinance. I also filed a report with Boston to Police Department: report number 262042704; I’m also including a photograph, which includes Mr. Hamm and the two dogs Reporting party: Name: Richard Cook Phone: 617-834-6390 Email: richardcookmd@gmail.com Address: 567 Tremont St #6, Boston, MA 02118

  • Broken Park Equipment

7 Bolster St, Boston, MA 02130

I'm the parent of an incoming JFK pre-K student, urgently asking for attention and leadership regarding the unsafe conditions at the JFK Elementary School playground. The current structure is over 25 years old, was never designed for the 3-and 4-year-olds now enrolled and has already caused accidents. Needles have been found in the woodchips where children play, the bridge is unstable with gaps dangerous for small children, and the playground in not accessible for our inclusion students. Families fear these conditions could jeopardize JFK's NAEYC accreditation. We urge the City of Boston and Boston Public Schools to prioritize a new, safe and accessible playground for our children before another child gets hurt. Thank you!
