No police officer at construction site at the intersection of D and Old Colony Ave. Traffic on Old Colony is diverted to drive on the wrong side of the road so they cannot see the red line when the walk sign is on to cross. This is extremely dangerous. And the construction vehicles are blocking the crosswalk on both sides of the street so there isn’t event a safe place to cross since oncoming cars can’t see you. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA C-6]

August 26 ~4:10pm at A street and W Broadway intersection. I commute on foot through this intersection and cars often ignore the pedestrian walk signals and drive into foot traffic, some at dangerously high speeds to beat a yellow light or make a right on red. The problem is especially bad at rush hour (4pm-6pm) when A st traffic onto Dorchester Ave is backed up and motorists block the Broadway x A st intersection. Light cycle after light cycle, this results in a line of cars in the middle of the intersection proceeding to cross despite having a red light and the ped xing being on. Some cars pause for peds and others absolutely floor it while people are in the middle of the cross walk which is terrifying. At 4:10pm today, this exact event occurred (as it does daily). Big SUV stranded in the middle of the intersection just flooring it through the red light and multiple people mid crosswalk with no hesitation. No exaggeration, I get nervous to do this crossing on my commute to and from work. I have personally had close calls while simply obeying the ped crossing. Can anything please be done here? "Do not block intersection" boxes? Better signage near the traffic lights? | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA C-6]

Another new set of curb ramps at St Botolph St and Harcourt St. I think these pads should also be red instead of yellow. Furthermore, would it be possible to align the crosswalk so that it lines up with the cut-through rather than sending people in wheelchairs directly into a wall?
