Property at 44 Longfellow St. Dorchester 02122 ..many issues over the years. Owner never seen for years, house appears not lived , 2 cars in lot, one has been blocking sidewalk for weeks. Both cars are filled trash, windows open. Front yard always unkempt, dead branches on sidewalk and other debris. Lots of trash on front porch and side yard..no trash ever put out on garbage day. During winter the sidewalks are never shoveled! I have complained to 311 and I’m sure other neighbors have as well. But still a problem for many years! Can some one from the city address the owner (Allen)? I have seen violation notices I his mailbox but doubt he is aware of them. Thank you kindly for your attention!

Up until a couple of years ago, this BHA Housing property was consistently well kept with neatly trimmed grass and pretty flower planters at each door. Snow was shoveled promptly and always the full width of the sidewalk. Not anymore. Something changed. Now the trash barrel area is messy and overflowing, grass overgrown, litter everywhere. The planters are broken and/or full of weeds. Management has stopped managing. It looks disgraceful. The city can (and did) do better. Illegal aliens have had it so good here they believe they belong. They don't. None in Arlington or on Wu's block. Ship them back and catch the EBT cards.

Severe rat problem and much filth and garbage. Dumpsters are feeding the rat problem. Area is neglected and not kept clean. Rats squeal, scream and run around all night outside of my bedroom window.
