Along Sprague STREET yet adress on here puts Sprague PLACE, right after the Sprague street bridge. I cannot pinpoint the exact address on the map. Bushes have overgrown onto the sidewalk, too many weeds and branches. Previous reports have stated a ticket has been issued, but when looked up, the properties do not have tickets. this same property has been reported for not being shoveled after snowfall and nothing ever seems to be done regarding sidewalk clearings. location on map 42°14'11.0"N 71°08'11.0"W . directly across the road from the entrance to the Proof Apartments.

Property at 44 Longfellow St. Dorchester 02122 ..many issues over the years. Owner never seen for years, house appears not lived , 2 cars in lot, one has been blocking sidewalk for weeks. Both cars are filled trash, windows open. Front yard always unkempt, dead branches on sidewalk and other debris. Lots of trash on front porch and side yard..no trash ever put out on garbage day. During winter the sidewalks are never shoveled! I have complained to 311 and I’m sure other neighbors have as well. But still a problem for many years! Can some one from the city address the owner (Allen)? I have seen violation notices I his mailbox but doubt he is aware of them. Thank you kindly for your attention!

Up until a couple of years ago, this BHA Housing property was consistently well kept with neatly trimmed grass and pretty flower planters at each door. Snow was shoveled promptly and always the full width of the sidewalk. Not anymore. Something changed. Now the trash barrel area is messy and overflowing, grass overgrown, litter everywhere. The planters are broken and/or full of weeds. Management has stopped managing. It looks disgraceful. The city can (and did) do better.
