How is the city allowing this situation? The entire street is filled with space savers taking up all the parking spots, leaving no available parking for residents. Can the city please address this issue? I am requesting that Code Enforcement issue violations and that Public Works remove these items as soon as possible.

I would like to report that a resident on my street keeps placing a cone on a public parking space in front of or next to their home to prevent others from parking there. As far as I understand, public street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless there are official city restrictions or permits posted. I am requesting that this situation be looked into to determine whether the cone is authorized and, if not, that appropriate action be taken. This situation could easily lead to unnecessary arguments or conflicts between neighbors, so it would be better if the appropriate authorities could speak with this person directly.
