- Once again, the homeless have taken up residence under the overpass, and once again the police have driven by repeatedly and done nothing about it. Once again the trash has piled up. Once again I'm left to write to you fine folks in the mayors office in the hope of getting the area cleaned up, and the people making the mess removed. This is a nice neighborhood, and the blight of individuals under the overpass and in the entrance to the southwest corridor who are drinking and abusing drugs in broad daylight is inexplicable. 9-5 commuters are accosted twice a day by the people asking for money, shouting obscenities, and just being sloppy messed up on drugs and alcohol. The police know about it, and they do nothing, and that, frankly, is ridiculous. |
