Type of Work: [Utility Excavation Work] Name of Contractor/Utility working: [Other] If Other, please specify: [Feeney Brothers] Please specify details.: [Caller states the workers do not have well-posted detour signs when they close Glendale St. Caller states "there has been just one detour sign at the beginning of Glendale, pointing down Columbia in the direction of Bodwell (the next block parallel to Glendale). If someone drives down Bodwell, drives against the Do Not Enter in the middle of the block, and drives against the One-Way on Bird, they will arrive at the Bird St end of Glendale. Unfortunately, there are no signs after the first one at Glendale and Columbia to say this is possible". Caller also states there is only one police officer at the end of Bird St and this is not helpful because he does not direct traffic. Caller states his wife uses the MBTA Ride and the bus is unable to pick his wife up because the street is closed and their is no detour sign indicating where to go.]
