- Please explain: [On Hyde Park Ave. opposite Forest Hills Station there is a pedestrian and motorist controlled traffic signal. Another such signal, just pedestrian controlled, is at the northern end of Forest Hills Station, on New Washington Street. These pedestrian controlled lights are each less than one hundred feet away from regular timed traffic signal. Given their proximity, why can not the pedestrian controlled lights be synced with the regular traffic signals? Forest Hills traffic is an ongoing nightmare, and these pedestrian controlled lights make things even worse. Check them out at rush hour some time and you will see how they significantly impede the flow of traffic unnneccessarily.] Is the Pole knocked down: [No]
