Description: What is the nature of the problem: [Last night around 7:30 on our way home we saw people going in and out of 131 Centre Street, an abandoned property. 13 days later, after my email to you, 131 Centre is still open to the elements and who knows what else, gate, doors and windows. Have not heard from you about this issue. And nothing has changed at the location. This building needs to be secured. If anything happens at that house, who would be responsible???? We need an inspection and results asap…. I have been dealing with trying to get this abandoned property secured again for about 4 weeks. It had been boarded up back in May of 2015 by the city, then trash started collecting and I had made a call for a cleanup. I think the owner John Vail cleaned it up a bit, started some construction and disappeared again. For the last month all the doors and windows have been open and gate unlocked. Good place for a zombie but not so good for public safety. I've emailed, called, 311'd, and 4 weeks later, it's still wide open…what's the update?]
