Work Hours - Loud Noise Complaints

Case Resolved. Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) investigated and determined the following: National Grid is replacing an old gas main on Bowdoin St Because it is a difficult area to work in there have been different times the contactor could do the work Monday through Fridays DAYS Monday through Friday Nights It has been finally determined that the work will be weekends 7am to 7pm We will allow the contractor to work tonight 7pm to around 11pm to back fill and remove the plates The plates have been a loud noise issue and we have a potential snow storm tomorrow and want as many plates as possible off our streets .
