Case Resolved. Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) investigated and determined the following: Based on many complaints about the new gas main installation work on Bowdoin St the work is now scheduled for Weekends only from 7am-7pm unless an emergency arises. Last week we allowed the National Grid contractor to work one last night to backfill and pave and remove the plates that had been causing a lot of noise, plus we wanted the plates off for the potential snow storm scheduled for the next day. You should not have anymore night work.
