- The city should be fined for its poor snow removal around the park. The snow removal machine couldn't fit between the fence and a pole so it simply left a large pile of snow blocking safe passage on the side walk, in violation of city ordinance. This situation is repeated multiple times around the park, now creating dangerously slippery and difficult to navigate conditions. The main path through the park, which a majority of the neighborhood uses to walk to Shawmut Station was left uncleared. It's always cleared of snow in previous storms. Not to mention that on the day of the storm, the sidewalks weren't cleared until almost 5pm. Overall this is unacceptable, the city should hold itself to the same standards it holds its residents.
