Case Noted. Hi Mike, Contractors are still wrapping up the construction work. This area does not have irrigation, so gravel removal and seeding will happen in September. The knotweed is another issue. This weed is extremely difficult to remove and requires years of continued maintenance/ chemical treatment. The contractor was able to remove some of the knotweed where we can do follow-up mowing to help control. However, the area left is on an extremely steep slope. At this time, we are unable remove this weed and provide the follow-up maintenance required to keep it at bay nor do we feel certain that we can get good enough establishment of grass on this slope thus causing significant erosion which would bury the new lawn. If you have any questions, please contact Project Manager Allison Perlman at 617-635-4505. Thank you.

Description
As Cassidy Park renovation nears completion I am concerned that nothing is being done to repair the lawn behind home plate. There are several piles of stones that need to be removed, a large area of weeds, and the grass along the entire berm all the way to the tennis courts needs repair. I'm hopeful these issues are not overlooked before the project ends. Thank you. |
