- Please cancel ticket for Lic # 113 RS2 given today 3pm. Meter maid gave my neighbor a ticket for parking in front of her own driveway. She parks there to enable Sumner School teachers to have an extra spot to park . I told the person that the car belonged to the homeowner but the ticket was already written. An address check by the meter maid would have verified what I told her and she ignored. Please cancel this ticket. Our neighborhood is full of illegally parked cars but this was not one!

Case Invalid. Ticket was validly issued. Vehicles are not allowed to park in front of a driveway, even if it is their own. Parking enforcement officers do not have access to registry lookup, as that is a State database. Anyone wishing to appeal a ticket can do some, and more information can be found here: https://www.boston.gov/departments/parking-clerk/how-appeal-parking-ticket. However, ticket was correctly issued and will not be voided.
