- The Office of the Parking Clerk is assessing late penalties on disputed tickets while the tickets are still in the dispute stage and not notifying those who have contested the violation. How is it ethical/legal to impose a late fee when a ticket is disputed immediately/within the defined window of time? The Parking Clerk staff noted they are "behind schedule" with parking ticket disputes, but that should not give rise to artificial late fees being assessed. Again, how is this legal/ethical?
