- To Whom It May Concern: My apartment building, Harborview at the Navy Yard, has been aware of an extensive water leak that has chronically plagued my apartment for 35+ days without resolution. I have been lied to—on numerous occasions—that the leak has been fixed; however, it persists. I was told there was no mold found in the ceiling where they cut out some of the damaged sheetrock (which I do not believe, as mold forms almost instantly where the water drips.) It is also impossible for them to know if there is mold in the walls where there is damage, as they have not cut into the wall. I have extensive records of the building claiming the leak has been fixed, as well as images proving it has not. I am always current with my rent and feel taken advantage of and disrespected that this has been ongoing for 35+ days. Additionally, I have asthma and allergies that I believe are being impacted by this. Looking forward to hearing from you.
