CLOSED #101003986940

Case Resolved. Good morning, we have had several of these anonymous complaints. I am not sure why the caller doesn't just stop by the center or call and speak to the center director about whatever his or her issue is. There is programming going on there which can be found in our registration website at Boston.gov/BCYF-Registration. In addition to the programs currently listed in BCYF's registration site, BCYF Nazzaro's teen center is open, and the staff are currently doing outreach to young people about playground recreation games that will begin later this month. Please also note that the community center council does plan to offer additional enrichment activities, however they have not been able to start because they are waiting for MA EEC to approve their application to run an EEC exempt program. We were told they expected to hear from the State this week. The City staff are ready to support those programs, as soon as possible. Again, the center's new director, Alicia Simpson, can be reached at 617-635-5166 and would love to hear about what this caller is looking for for programming.
