Private Developer, Pamela Bardhi, (not a Boston resident) of the Mosche Group. | Type of item for sale: [The private backyard of our home, 233 Metropolitan Avenue listed to lease as public parking and storage on Craigslist: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/prk/d/roslindale-vacant-lot-in-roslindale/7487461244.html] Details: [According to our condo documents and Master deed, the developer has reserved the backlot for “Phase 2 Development”, however from the Boston Zoning Board Administration (ZBA) and neighborhood advocacy, the ZBA unanimously voted to dismiss the appeal and refused to grant a permit to subdivide the lot. Proposed: 233R Metropolitan subdivision Appeal Number: BOA1073954; Deferred original 10/27/20 hearing date twice to 6/29/21. The City of Boston has previously requested Abutter input and facilitated a public meeting which was well attended and resulted in UNANIMOUS ABUTTER OPPOSITION from all opinions expressed. Final Decision: On June 29, 2021, ZBA final decision was to refuse a permit to subdivide a lot into a single-family dwelling, Violation of Usable Open Space, Violation of Statute 1956, Chapter 665, Article 67, Section 9; “did not advance sufficient reasons to satisfy the Board that all conditions under which the Board may grant a Variance as specified in Article 7, Section 7-3, of the Zoning Code have been met.
