- sent to311 from Mass DCR: UK-based PR firm looking for permitting info for open spaces (cc to Boston Parks Dept.) Hello, I hope you’re well. I have been liaising with your colleague Fran McGaffigan with regards to an event we hoping to host in the Seaport area of Boston. Fran recommended that I complete an application for a permit, however before I do so please could you confirm if it is actually possible to hire the outdoor spaces for 24hours that I have outlined below in the first instance? The green/grass area adjacent to Woods Hill Pier 4 Beside Harbour Walk playground LoPrestie park, East Boston Many thanks, Stella Stella Coffey Events Producer The Studio stella.coffey@hkstrategies.com M: 07729 662 602 O: +44 207 413 3000 signature_1230347120 Hill+Knowlton Strategies The Buckley Building The Buckley Building49 Clerkenwell Green London, EC1R 0EB United Kingdom www.hkstrategies.com | Case (SR) Type: [Miscellaneous] Referred To: [BOSTON HARBORWALK]

Case Referred to External Agency. This request was sent to Boston Harbor Now, a non-profit that oversees certain permitting issues on the waterfront, and I want to redirect you to the appropriate property owners. For Pier 4, I would suggest reaching out to Jeremy DiFlaminies who manages the Residences at Pier 4 (Jeremy.DiFlaminies@fsresidendial.com). For LoPresti Park, you'll need to get a permit from the Boston Parks and Recreation Department by completing the online form or reaching out directly to Paul McCaffrey (paul.mccaffrey@boston.gov). Since these are waterfront open spaces within Chapter 91 jurisdiction, closures for private events are limited by state law and may not be feasible depending on what you have planned. If you have further questions, please let me know. Thank you, Ailce -- Alice Brown, AICP Chief of Planning and Policy Boston Harbor Now.
