- cc'd to BPD A-7 Intersection of chelsea and Putnam is unsafe for pedestrians. I have nearly been hit by drivers not paying attention to pedestrian crossing twice just in the last month and drivers regularly do not yield to pedestrians. Cars regularly speed on chelsea despite heavy pedestrian traffic and frequent mail truck stops. This is NOT a safe crossing |

Case Noted | BTD has taken steps to make this a safe crossing by adding daylighting for better pedestrian visibility, pedestrian warning signs, narrowed the crossing by adding bike lanes, painted island, etc. Vehicles not yielding to pedestrians is a moving violation and the police should be contacted.
