- Constituent bought 2 bottles of 5 gallon water from Stop and Shop and she had to pay a $9 deposit for the bottles. The constituent wanted to stop getting water from them and they refused to return the $9 deposit that was initially given. The constituent brought the bottles back and they stated that they cannot give the money back. Constituent would like someone to look into this. Case Resolved | The inspector spoke with the manager. He is contacting the customer and she will receive her money back. they are trying to figure out who is responsible for the refund since poland springs is who services the water station in the store. We explained they are at the current time since Stop and Shop is providing this service to their customers
