- Description
- Good afternoon, Boston’s Parks Department! In October 2018, we were glad and grateful to see three (3) new trees planted at 21, 25/27 and 31 Chelsea Street in East Boston. We started the process in 2015 by asking the City of Boston to prune a tree and then it evolved into cutting down three (3) old big dead trees and getting three (3) healthy new trees. Two (2) of the trees at 25/27 and 31 Chelsea Street are doing very well. However, the tree at 21 Chelsea Street has been struggling for many years. The maple tree – the only one - definitely needs to be pruned. About half of the tree branches have problems, perhaps even a disease. Please advice! Thank you, Arja Sved and the neighbors of 21 Chelsea Street | Is this a City owned tree situated on the sidewalk: [Yes]
