- I currently live at 75 saint Alphonsus street apartments and the building is run by the company JVUE. There is overcrowding of several apartments, particularly which also affects amenities and elevators. This has been reported before to management and it is well known that some apartments are subleasing (which is prohibited per the contract I signed for a 1 bedroom apartment). still despite this the management does not do anything about it and looks the other way. There are 6 persona ocuppying one Beth room apartments. Elevators always break or are non functioning and it is a pain to enter the building because there is always a line to hop into an elevator as typically there is only one single elevator working. This is a safety concern because I have a baby and if there is an emergency it’s imposible to move from a 9 floor. There are pests and bad smells in the building (roaches and mice), which is due to a combination of lack of action by the management, but also due to the overcrowding and lack of hygiene of some of the neighbors. Sometimes people has to wear masks due to the terrible smelling. I consider there are unsanitary living conditions that need to be inspected as despite multiple efforts to address them through the management there is no response.
