Description: I am the Boston/Metro-West Young Adult Regional Peer Recovery Specialist for MA Young People in Recovery (MyPiR). We are a peer participatory program for young people 18-25 years old throughout the state of Massachusetts. We are funded through the Bureau of Substance Abuse services; all services are provided at no cost to our peers that participate in our programming. Our program’s main hub is located at 85 Quincy Ave, Quincy Ma. 02169. At MyPiR we host meetings, recovery coaching, and connection with other young people in recovery. Our goal is to establish relationships with other facilities working towards the same goal of providing young adults with as many resources as possible! We also do monthly activities at some of the trendiest spots throughout the state! With our staff having lived experience we are able to show a unique perspective that there is fun in recovery! We would be extremely grateful to speak with your program director.
