- Rat bites: [No] Rats in the house: [No] Rats outside of property: [Yes] What is the nature of the problem: [Constituent staes via email: We are gravely concerned that the Park Vale Avenue area in the Allston neighborhood within the City of Boston, Suffolk County AND the Commonwealth of Massachusetts continues to have significant issues that need the full attention of all stakeholders as we have a daughter that lives at 37 Park Vale Avenue and the rampant rat population contributed by possible violations of health and safety codes by widespread uncontained trash bags, exposed/unsealed garbage containers, open hauling containers and overwhelming human deitrus throughout the entire area (sidewalks, bike lanes, and thoroughfares) that put local residents in health harm's way.
