- Me and my two children were nearly hit by a speeding car this week on Medford Street in front of Charlestown High School. This was in a school zone at about 6 pm on a school day. Traffic stopped in one direction to allow us to cross but a car in the opposite direction slammed on their brakes and nearly hit us in the crosswalk. I was grabbing my kids trying to pull them out of the way. What is being done to improve the safety of this very dangerous road?
