Description
Jason and Katherine Post own three units in 428 Marlborough. Two do not qualify for a short term rental per the eligibility data made available by Boston.gov. One does qualify and they are using STR number 544863 but City data does not show that the registration is current. In an attempt to get their units listed on AirBnB they selected that the units were exempt due to Hospital contracts. In the host profile it mentions that people with hospital affiliations receive a special rate and that the intent of the rental is corporate stays. Special rates and intent are NOT short term rental registration exemptions highlighted in 9-14.4B sections (c) and (d). These rentals must be registered according to Ordinance 9-14 for the City of Boston.
