- Constituent states "I am writing to bring attention to a matter of grave concern regarding the safety of pedestrians and motorists at the intersection of Adams Street and Oakton Avenue. As a resident of this community, I have observed numerous near misses and accidents at this particular junction due to limited visibility. I kindly request your immediate attention to installing a traffic mirror at this intersection to enhance visibility and ensure the safety of all road users. The absence of a traffic mirror exacerbates the risk, especially during peak hours. Due to vehicles parked in front of the Boston Public Library where visibility is obstructed to oncoming traffic (traveling NORTH), please install mirrors near the pedestrian sign that is presently on the LEFT (Heading NORTH) on the same side as 677 Adams Street. Your prompt action in addressing this issue will undoubtedly contribute to the overall well-being and security of our community. Thank you for your attention to this matter." |
