Description
The section beginning from where Kelton Street intersects with Scottfield Rd down to where Kelton Street becomes Winchester Street has no trees at all. Recently, the landlords cut down three huge trees on this portion of Kelton Street, so the street is even hotter than before. Multiple trees would be best, but I am requesting at least one. | Reside at this location: [Yes] Explaint: [Yes; it's an apartment complex.] Owner of the property: [No] Sidewalk tree or a private lawn plantings: [Sidewalk tree] Explaint: [It does not have to be directly in front of the apartment. Noted | Thank you for your interest in increasing the canopy in the City of Boston. In order for the BPRD Urban Forestry Division to ensure the success of our new street trees we require that the property owner who directly abuts where the new tree is being requested to be planted be the one who makes the request for a new tree to be planted. Only requests made by the actual abutting property owner will be inspected for planting. If you can get in contact with your landlord and have them make a 311 case with their contact info, we can proceed. Requests can be made via the 311 app by calling 311 or by calling the Park Line at 617-635-7275. Thank you.
