- I take my daughter to this great playground next to Carter field on Columbus Ave. I am reaching out because there is a really dangerous swing in that playground that could potentially lead to a fatal or near fatal accident if not addressed. This is not your typical swing. It has a large metal play that kids usually sit on, that has sent one kid to the ER that I know of. Unfortunately, kids are running around not aware that the metal plate swinging back and forth is a danger. Please either remove the metal place and just add a regular swing or remove the metal plate and add in seating that is made of rubber or some softer material. Again, everytime I am there I have seen young toddlers run by unaware of the danger. Please remove it.
