Description
There is an ABANDONED trailer parked illegally on Rosseter Street in Dorchester since 12:14 am Thursday morning. The position of the trailer at the bottom of the hill has the potential to cause accidents. It needs to be towed immediately. We have called multiple times and the trailer is still there. It is creating a blind spot for drivers coming down and going up the hill on Eldon Street. Why is this trailer still here? City regulation states: "No person shall park or stand any trailer or semi-trailer on any part of any street, way, highway, road, or parkway under the control of the City, unless such trailer or semi-trailer is attached to a motor vehicle capable of towing it." Residents on this street have made multiple calls and filed multiple complaints since Thursday and the abandoned trailer has yet to be removed. Emergency vehicles often use Rosseter Street and Eldon Street as a way to access Washington Street. Why is that residents in inner-city neighborhoods have to complain multiple times for the city to do its job? Had this trailer been left abandoned in Wellesley or Brookline, it would've been ticketed and removed within 24 hours. As taxpayers, we deserve the same level of respect and urgency. We have kids who cross the street every single day. Do we need to wait until a child to get hit for the city to tow this trailer? | Make of the abandoned car: [UNKNOWN] Color of the abandoned car: [WHITE]
