- Other | Details: [Units are unsafe for human occupancy, including problems with electricity, water, ventilation, and window screens. Tenants are responsible for costs of power surges from improperly functioning electricity far beyond their actual electricity usage. Tenants are in danger from electric and gas fires from improperly functioning electricity as well as improperly installed heaters and ovens. Ventilation systems have not been serviced in 2+ years and odors, substances, and sounds are coming into individual units from other units. Water temperature is not consistent and there are problems with water drainage and the disbursement of steam created by the shower and dishwasher. The community spaces are not accessible for residents with disabilities, including laundry and trash facilities. The trash dumpsters are not accessible nor clearly marked for waste versus recycling. There is no trash bin at the community playground or signage regarding smoking, alcohol, and drug use on and near the playground. Doors to the roof and garage are not locked nor do they have alarms. The gate to the garage does not work properly and frequently gets stuck, allowing non-community members to come and without any measure of security. Smoking of cigarettes and pot is happening in community spaces, including the garage and playground, and there has been no redress.
