Description
Muddy runoff from 1-8 Kinsale Lane / 146 Milton Avenue has been running down Fairmount Hill throughout the storms tonight. Denis Keohane clear cut two acres of the former City of Boston Water Reservoir. The clear cut site is not retaining its own stormwater runoff due to the clear cut and removal of vegetation, natural springs, abundant groundwater and high water table, and insufficient stormwater infrastructure. During the rain storms tonight, water once again saturated the site and overflowed and into the public right of way. Better photos could not be taken due to constant lightning for several hours. But muddy water has been running down the street since before 8:00pm.
