Description
Public Exposure Incident at Brewer fountain. During today;s concert with Boston Music Project, a young woman between the age of 19-23 arrived at Brewer Fountain around 12:45 p.m. She was sitting on the bench near the performance tent when she began behaving erratically. Her actions included bending over, kneeling on the ground, rolling around, shouting, and lifting her dress. She shouted at some of the regular visitors and removed her underwear, exposing herself in public. A private security guard intervened, and after a tense interaction Park Rangers were contacted to help. Park Ranger Smith arrived approximately 5 minutes later and police were called for backup. By then, the woman had fully disrobed and began to punch, slap, and kick other park visitors who were trying to get her to put her clothes on and calm her down. When the police arrived, they tried to take the young woman into custody, which she resisted, resulting in a long struggle to handcuff her. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]
