Per Property Management: Thank you for your attention to these details of our City and for caring about the safety of our City's smallest residents! Our team has examined this and we are not sure why you observed such fast speeds on that windmill. I think potentially it had to do with the large amount of rain we received, as it does not normally spin that quickly in my experience. We will continue to monitor it and make any adjustments if need be. Thank you again for taking the time to reach out to us, and please do not hesitate to do so in the future if you have further concerns.

Description
Constituent states via Contact Form on 7/7: Hi All, I’ve never wrote a letter to the city in my life but I felt like I had to on this one. In the park by city hall across from Boston Market in the north end, there is a water table that’s super cool and has a bunch of steel structures that let you pump water. At the very bottom there is a steel windmill that accelerates by water falling into it. I took a video that will show you that this thing was spinning at over 50 mph. I really think when you see the video you are going to send someone out to remove this little item right away. If any child were to touch it would definitely break their hand and if a small child were to crawl into it they could get really severely hurt. It doesn’t spin that fast all the time, but today I saw it happen 10 or so different times in a 30 minute period. Please leave me a voicemail if you call, so I know it’s you. Thanks again, Joel | Case (SR) Type: [Miscellaneous] Referred To: [PROPERTY MANAGEMENT]
