Description
Constituent states via Contact Form on 8/21: Nellie Miranda Memorial Park on 39-41 Belden Street. The issue of homeless loitering in the playground at night past 8PM and sleeping there has been an ongoing issue for years. I have called police and made reports online to 311. However this issue is never listened to or payed attention to by anyone. I called the police today August, 21,2024 and no one showed up once again ignoring by pleads to come and do something about this issue. One thing I advocate for is more police patrol coming to this park throughout the night to escort the homeless out. It is unfair to the community and my neighbors that we have to deal with the constant nuisance and noises made by these homeless at night. I have done everything I can as a resident by calling and emailing but I do not see any solutions given. Please help my neighborhood and neighbors have a peaceful community here near this playground. The park should have more lighting at night, someone from the city should lock it up so no one enters, police should be sent to patrol that area and remove any individuals that come to this park after closing. Please help our community thrive and do better for Boston residents and neighborhoods. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA B-2]
