- The public garbage the used to be on the sidewalk in front of 1696 Commonwealth Ave in Brighton was removed when road work was being done. The roadwork appears to have been completed, but the trash can was never returned to the sidewalk. Several residents depend on this trash can, and residents have been leaving behind some trash, like dog poop bags, where the can used to be. We've been picking up the trash as to not create an unsanitary mess, but we'd greatly appreciate if the trash can could be returned. Thank you!

Noted. We tried to work with the two store owners pictured. They were adamant about wanting the belly removed. We even powerwashed the belly to help with the scent. We tried moving it to the next block and they didn't want it at their location. It was our last resort to remove the belly. There will be no reinstallation at this location.
