Description
On Chestnut Hill Driveway, between Commonwealth Avenue and St Thomas More Road, cyclists use the space in between the speed cobblestones and the curb because the stones are too dangerous to cross on a bike at speed (and regardless the stones don’t seem to effectively slow down the many reckless speeding cars). Potholes in these spaces, such as pictured, make this even more dangerous for cyclists. (Also, bike lanes on this road, all the way between Comm Ave and Beacon Street, would also be warmly welcomed, but that’s another story…).
