Description
I am a bicycle commuter who obeys laws and tries to bike safely to and from my home & office. Every weekday during my commute home at approximately 510pm, there are multiple cars parked in the bike lane in front of the Clay Pot Cafe at 74 Kneeland St, Boston, MA 02111. This is a particularly dangerous spot to force bikers into traffic, especially during rush hour as aggressive drivers are often making quick moves to navigate traffic on kneeland. I've also been close to being hot (see attached video) by delivery vehicles pulling in and out of the lane or their drivers getting in and out of their cars. Id like to see this area policed during rush hour, or to have an officer speak to the business owner. The bike lane is not temporary parking for cars, it's an area to keep bicyclists without protection safe from 1000 lb machines moving at 35mph. I've attached some stills of today's commute to show the issue. I will submit more evidence as I have it.
